At The Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP) we take your right to privacy very seriously. For that reason we have set out this privacy policy so you can make sure you understand how and why we use the personal information you give us about yourself.
Collection of information
You may be asked to submit personal information about yourself in order to receive or use services on the FNTP website. Such services may include Message boards.
We may use the information gathered in compiling anonymous statistics and research, providing you with access to the website or the services you request or otherwise in the course of our furthering our objects. We will not sell, share or rent personally identifiable information to third parties.
By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable FNTP and its service providers to provide you with the services you select. Whenever you provide such personal information, we will treat that information in accordance with this policy. When using your personal information FNTP will act in accordance with current legislation and aim to meet current Internet best practice.
Membership
When you register on-line at FNTP you may be asked to provide us with the following information:
• your name
• your e-mail address; and/or
• your member name and password
• details of your qualification(s)
You may also choose to provide FNTP with additional information about yourself.
We may request further information from you at a later date, whether you choose to provide such information or not shall be entirely up to you. Any information you do provide will be subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and used only for the purposes for which we require such information.
Third parties
FNTP never passes any personally identifiable information on to any other organisation or third party. Occasionally, we may use the information to compile statistics to assist us in research or campaigning. In all these cases, all information will be completely anonymous.

Any personal information will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, as amended from time to time. We reserve the right to amend this policy from time to time.
